I’ve been so busy this week setting up my classroom for my new babies to start on Monday. As of Friday I was up to 28 students!! Yikes I have never taught that many students before and I only hope that number doesn’t grow.
I was out doing some last-minute school shopping and I stopped by MAC to grab some more brow gel and of course I grabbed more than I planned. What can I say, I am a huge sucker for makeup.
This is what I grabbed:
- Mac Cremesheen Lipstick in Koi Coral
- Mac Matte Lipstick in Persistence
- Mac False Lashes Mascara
- Mac Paint Pot in Painterly
- Mac Loose Pigment in Grape
- Mac Clear Brow Gel
I love the cremesheen lipstick because it is sheer but still packs a punch with the color and it has gold flakes that gives it an iridescent look
The Persistence lipstick is perfect for an everyday look when you don’t want too much color on your lips.
The grape pigment is so vibrant I love how it looks on your lids and it reflects nicely in the light
I have already expressed my LOVE for their clear brow gel in previous posts and I have never used the false lashes mascara but I will let you know how I like it. I created this look on IG using the grape pigment, morocco, and soft peach from my Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Shadow Couture Palette. I used Martha Stewart’s glitter in purple on my lids applied with eyelash glue. (A trick I learned on You Tube)
**Sale announcement: Morphe Brushes is having a sale. All of their makeup palettes and most of their brushes are half priced. Grab them while you can!! I purchased 3 new palettes and some makeup brushes
The other day I told you about my new eyeshadow palette obsession:
My Newly-Found Love
The colors are soooo pigmented and vibrant that I just cannot seem to put it down. I am having too much fun creating different combinations of colors. The Morocco, Soft Peach, and Fudge seem to be my go-to crease shades but this time I decided to add a pop of color sort of last minute or shoud I say after the fact. I will show you the before and after the fact photos:

Before the after thought
I began taking pictures and I kept thinking that my eyes were missing something. Then I realized that I did not do a liner which was a total oversight on my part. So instead of my traditional black or dark brown liner I stepped outside the box with this:
I used Knicknak Blue liquid liner and it gave my eyes the pick-me-up it needed.

I purchased Anastasia’s Artist Palette when it first came out and I featured it in my post about my favorite go-to eye palettes for the work week see post here but now I am going to have to add a newly found favorite!!
Move over Artist Palette…I’ve Got Another Love
OMG look at these colors they are freakin amazing and the eye looks are endless. I haven’t put this palette down since it arrived in the mail 3 days ago. I think I dream about what the next day’s look is going to be. The Morocco, Soft Peach, and Fudge are the best crease and transition shades it seems like I always start there. I am having so much fun with this palette and I am now an avid Anastasia fan and will purchase every single one of her palettes from this day forward. Scouts honor!
